MONTGOMERY -- On Friday, Feb. 10, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) was contacted by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office concerning a burned body, which had been discovered near Macon County 2 and Keys Court. The body was identified as 39-year-old Jessica Bean, who was reported missing from the Montgomery area on Thursday, Feb. 9.
Over the course of the investigation, 28-year-old Darrian Kennebrew and 25-year-old Desirea Driscol were developed as suspects and later charged with Capital Murder.
ALEA’s SBI would like to recognize and thank the Montgomery Police Department for all their efforts concerning this investigation, as well as resources and assistance provided by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, Auburn Police Department, Marshal’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Mobile Office, Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Elmore County EMA, and the 5th Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
