On Saturday, Nov. 22, at the request of the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office, Special Agents assigned to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) launched a double homicide investigation.
An 18-year-old juvenile and 17-year-old juvenile were both found deceased near Ralph Ervin Road in Pine Hill, located within Wilcox County. Both juveniles were found with gunshot wounds. The teens had been reported missing since Monday, Nov. 17, and were reportedly last seen near Thomasville.
On Saturday, Nov. 22, Courtney Anderson, 27, of Thomasville was arrested and officially charged with Capital Murder. Anderson was placed into the Wilcox County Jail.
Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing. Once complete, the findings will be turned over to the Wilcox County District Attorney’s Office.
